The Terrace Hill Commission and Terrace Hill Endowment for the Musical Arts Selection Committee (THEMA) presented the 21st annual Terrace Hill Piano competition. The statewide competition is open to Iowa high school seniors or residents entering college who will compete for a scholarship to be used at one of Iowa’s colleges or universities during the upcoming academic year. The purpose of this award is to promote the continued growth of Iowa’s outstanding musical resources in its colleges and universities and to provide special aid to young pianists in Iowa.
