Rare archival footage, family home videos, and interviews with President Jimmy Carter, Vice President Al Gore, Representative Geraldine Ferraro, Minnesota Governor Arne Carlson, friends, and family reveal a man who never wavered in his commitment to civil and human rights. Throughout his accomplished career — attorney general, senator, vice president, presidential candidate, ambassador, and professor — Mr. Mondale has remained true to his small town roots, dedicated to helping others.
