Sidney Championship Rodeo: Freemont County, Sidney
The Sidney Championship Rodeo boasts "The Greatest Show on Dirt" as cowboys rope calves, wrestle steers and ride bareback broncs. In existence since 1923, the rodeo entertains more than 38,000 visitors a year in the tiny southwestern Iowa town of fewer than 1,200 residents.
