Series Description: THE NEW FLY FISHER teaches viewers everything they need to know about this popular pastime. The series' five expert fly-fishers and occasional guests provide fly-fishing techniques for all species of fish in North America - from warm water and cold water fish to salt and fresh water fish. These hosts offer clear and concise explanations of important nuances in fly-fishing while underwater footage and animated sequences elucidate a specific point or tactic. This season also emphasizes entomology and ecology as aquatic biologists explain the life cycles of specific insects, crustaceans and fish. Captivating high-definition images, including aerial shots of rivers, mountains and lakes, reveal the majestic beauty of landscapes and wildlife throughout North America's wilderness.
