Series Description: THE AMERICAN ROAD TO VICTORY trilogy is a series of engaging battlefield tours that bring viewers into the action of World War II. These three unique films follow GI's to the actual locations of the blood-soaked battlefields of D-Day through Hell's Highway in Holland to the frozen Ardennes forests of the Battle of the Bulge. Careful re-enactments, special effects, animated maps and often unseen archival footage are artfully woven with the chilling testimony from veterans. Hosted by battlefield historian Ellwood von Seibold.
