Iowans Remember 9-11

This one-hour program hosted by Simon Estes commemorates the 10th anniversary of the tragic terrorist attacks in America on September 11, 2001. Highlights include an eclectic mix of musical offerings from the Des Moines Symphony, The Nadas, Bob Dorr, singers from the Wartburg College Choir, the Iowa State String Quartet, and Mr. Estes himself, as well as perspectives from poet, storyteller and artist David Williamson, playwright Cynthia Mercati, essayist Michael Gartner, and some of Iowa's youth. Additional Iowa artists in this special will lighten the heart and help us appreciate what we have, even as we still grieve over who and what we lost. [59 minutes] Closed Captioning
