Caucus Iowa: A Speakers' Series

David Yepsen (#101)

David Yepsen has seen every one of Iowa's precinct caucus contests first hand from vantage points occupied by few others - as a political reporter, editor, and columnist for The Des Moines Register for 34 years; a thirty-year host, panelist, and guest on political programs on Iowa Public Television and other television and radio networks; and today from a greater distance as the director of the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois.
He offers his perspective on the process as the inaugural speaker in CAUCUS IOWA: A Speakers' Series, sponsored by the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs in association with the Greater Des Moines Partnership. [48 minutes] Closed Captioning
