Particles Collide and Wreckage Flies (#101)

Dr. Thomas Meyer, a recently retired ISU Adjunct Physics Professor, has a continuing role in research and science at both the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center, and the CERN laboratory in Switzerland. In this lecture, Particles Collide and Wreckage Flies, Dr. Meyer offers updates on new experiments at CERN’s Large Hadron Collider. He’ll share what scientists are learning in their search for the Higgs boson particle (also known as the God particle) and how these findings might impact modern Physics.
