Jackson Pollock’s painting Mural, has always been regarded as his breakthrough work: the painting that moved him from the position of an aspiring novice to that of the greatest modern artist in the world. Owned by the University of Iowa since Guggenheim donated it in 1948, the painting is said to be worth $140 million.
