The Flintlock Disaster

Narrated by Tom Brokaw, this is the epic World War II story of 23 young Marines in the Central Pacific who are dispatched on a simple assignment, to relocate their planes to safety, out of the range of the enemy. The Flintlock Disaster uncovers the truth about the fateful flight taken by Marine squadron VMF-422 on January 25th, 1944, resulting in the loss of 23 aircraft and the death of 6 pilots.
