New York Philharmonic with Kurt Masur and Sarah Chang (#2301)

Young violin virtuoso Sarah Chang joins Maestro Kurt Masur and the New York Philharmonic for the Sibelius Violin Concerto. The program includes Sibelius tone-poem, "The Swan of Tuonela", and Tchaikovskys sixth and final symphony, the "Pathetique". Also included, during the intermission, are excerpts from episode 501 of the "Backstage at Lincoln Center" series. [116 minutes] Closed Captioning
