Program Description: THE STORY OF READ-ALEE-DEED-ALEE is an early reading series that combines phonics with a whole language approach. It is intended to introduce young school children to the alphabet and to sounds and rhyming patterns that unlock words and the meaning of words. This series was developed in cooperation with the International Reading Association.
