Sesame Street

Episode #3895

Big Bird and Snuffy are all prepared to go on a picnic. But what's this? It's going to rain? How disappointed they are! Until they realize that there are so many wonderful things about the rain and the water it leaves behind. Maria likes the sound of the rain and Rosita like the way it makes everything all shiny. Alan knows that water from rain is important in the food we eat and Gordon knows that it helps the trees and flowers to grow. Well then, there is only one thing to do....have a Rainy Day Picnic! The letter of the day is 'U' and the number is '12.' Melissa Etheridge sings her ode to the letter 'U.' and in "Elmo's World" Elmo is thinking about flowers, trees and plants.
