Peter Ostroushko has long been regarded as one of the finest mandolinists in acoustic music and is also well known for appearances on "A Prairie Home Companion" and "Mr. Roger s Neighborhood." He performs medleys on the fiddle and mandolin and sings traditional songs as well as originals such as "Horizontal Hold."

He sings, dances, plays the harmonica, steel guitar, the mouth bow, the paper bag, the bottle, the washboard, the bones, the spoons and the banjo. He solos and he accompanies himself. Songs include: ' "Boatman," "Black-eyed Suzy," "Pretty Polly," "Rain Crow Bill," "Johnson Boys," "Georgia Camp Meeting," "Walk On," "Bones Tune," "Sittin' On Top of the World," "Race Train and Hound Dogs," and "John Henry."
