The Best of Old-Time Country Music

Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder (Pt. 1) (#9802)

Ricky Skaggs began his music career as a child performing with first generation bluegrass legends Bill Monroe, Flatt and Sgruggs, and Ralph Stanley. In 1996 and 1997, Skaggs performed more than 80 bluegrass dates. His latest bluegrass album titled Bluegrass Rules rose to # 68 on Billboard's country music charts and #1 on the Gavin Americana radio charts, an unprecedented feat for a purely bluegrass recording.
