American Four-Square (#1112)

Hosts Robin Hartl and Dean Johnson return to the site of their American four square restoration project in this episode of HOMETIME. Before remodeling, the home had seen few changes since it was first built in 1916. Johnson and Hartl show what progress has been made on the outside and the inside of the house up to this point, which includes the installation of an addition onto the back of the house in a style consitent with its original architecture. They also finish the last-minute interior details in each of the rooms before the arrival of the painters, and uncover old stucco from the exterior to reveal intricately patterned cedar siding.
