Shingle Cottage Construction (#1118)

Hosts Dean Johnson and Robin Hartle cover the continuing progress on the construction of a shingle-style cottage home in this episode of HOMETIME. The roof has been covered, the garage has been built, and the basic walls have been filled in, giving a more detailed impression of what the finished project will look like. While workers are laying a floor in the basement, Hartl shows viewers the second floor, including the newly-built framing for the staircase, and outlines the insulation plans. Johnson looks at the installation of the heating system in the basement, and visits architect Todd Remington to take a look at the trim that will go on th exterior of the house.
