Doctors IV: Survior Md - The Tattooed Doctor (#2806)

In addition to sporting impressive body art, Tom Tarter rides a classic Harley-Davidson motorcycle and shoots skeet from his home near Bloomington, Indiana, where he is an emergency room physician at Bloomington Hospital. A native of Bronx, New York, Tarter started medical school at the relatively advanced age of 31. On the nights that NOVA films, his ER patients include a woman who lost the tip of her finger in a mysterious accident, another woman who fell out of a moving car and a gravely ill man with end-stage liver cirrhosis.
