Barney & Friends

It's Tradition (#408)

This episode of BARNEY & FRIENDS explores the various traditions that exist in families. After Barney explains that any special way shared by family and friends for doing something may be considered a tradition, the kids decide to use the Barney bag to create flags that reflect their own family traditions. Stella visits from Mexico to share the story "The Story Quilt" about a young girl's mother who takes pieces of material from family members' old clothing to make a warm quilt for her little girl. Barney and the kids sing a special song about the different types of families and then decide to go on a pretend camping trip, a tradition that exists in most of the kids' families.
