Antiques Roadshow
Pittsburgh, Pa - Part 1 (#208)
Pittsburgh began its long history as Fort Pitt -- established by the British in 1758 to defend the area surrounding the Ohio River. In U.S. hands, it later became a bustling commercial and industrial trade area, and is now considered one of the most livable cities in the country. "Antiques Roadshow" sojourns to Pittsburgh's David L. Lawrence Convention Center to uncover the treasures of the city's past and appraise their cultural, historical and monetary value. Host Chris Jussel visits the Pittsburgh chapter of the National American Glass Club and gets advice from experts from collecting Barbie dolls to fine Russian enamel work. [56 minutes]
