Antiques Roadshow

Dallas (#210)

Long thought to be nothing more than a country cowtown, Dallas put itself on the map as a major cosmopolitan city in 1936 when it hosted the Texas Centennial exposition. "Antiques Roadshow" host Chris Jussel visits Fair Park, where the largest collection of Art Deco architecture in the country is amassed, and is also the location of Texas' famous Centennial. From all over North Texas, serious collectors and antique lovers gather to have their treasures appraised at the Adams Mark Hotel. The "Antiques Roadshow" experts assess a variety of valuables, from a diamond ring that once belonged to Elvis Preseley to an embroidery sampler worth $50,000. [56 minutes] Closed Captioning
