Antiques Roadshow

Charleston, South Carolina, Hour Three - Charleston Area Convention Center (#506)

Host Dan Elias wraps up the series' visit to Charleston, South Carolina with a side trip to Fort Sumter, a Confederate stronghold during the Civil War, now a national memorial to one of the most painful chapters in our nation's history. Significant discoveries at the Charleston Area Convention Center include a nineteenth-century bronze sculpture by one of the most notable French artists of his time, a rare set of surveyor's instruments from the 1800s, and one of the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW's most unique appraisal items a chair created for the world's most famous "Siamese twins," conjoined brothers born in Thailand in the early nineteenth century, estimated to be worth $ 10,000 to $12,000.
