Antiques Roadshow

Las Vegas, Nevada, Hour One (#520)

During a side trip to the neon-lit Strip, ROADSHOW host Dan Elias tells how Las Vegas grew from a railroad stop between Salt Lake City and Los Angeles to a fantasyland of glittering casinos and resorts that attracts tourists and entertainers from around the world. Curious collectors flock to the Las Vegas Convention Center, where ANTIQUES ROADSHOW appraisers inspect a sensational array of objects, including a print advertisement featuring the "Budweiser Girl," a 1930 limited-edition copy of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, and a beautiful, thirteen-piece sterling silver vanity set valued at $2, 500 to $3,500.
