Antiques Roadshow

Tucson, Az, Hour Two (#602)

ANTIQUES ROADSHOW continues its visit to Tucson, Arizona, where host Dan Elias takes a break from the action to tour "The White Dove of the Desert" the church of San Xavier del Bac. Construction of this " dazzling monument to God and to Spain" began in 1783, when southern Arizona was the northern edge of the Spanish Empire in America. ROADSHOW experts at the City of Tucson Convention Center spot a number of interesting finds, including two very collectible wooden D' Allemagne dolls, a lovely art deco bronze sculpture, and a trio of eighteenth-century leather fire buckets valued at $10,000 each.
