During the San Diego ANTIQUES ROADSHOW stop, Dan Elias visits the San Diego de Alcala Mission, the first Spanish mission in California. Back at the San Diego Convention Center, collectors arrive with a number of distinctive objects, including an ivory and diamond ring featuring a portrait of Charles I of England; an eighteenth-century chest-on-chest; and a wacky and wonderful Dr. Seuss "kangaroo bird" sculpture from the 1930s authenticated by a letter from the artist himself estimated to be worth $25,000. .
