This program included a report on the African Methodist Episcopal Church's first appointment of a female bishop in its history after Reverend Vashti McKenzie was chosen to preside over one of the denomination's districts in Africa; a cover story examining the recent ten-day Orthodox-Catholic dialogue in which the two Christian groups met for the first time to consider possible reconciliation; a conversation with Gary Rosenblatt, publisher of The Jewish Week, who recently published a controversial in-depth feature on a New Jersey rabbi who was accused of emotionally, physically, and sexually abusing teenagers; and a feature on the growing teaching of spiritual direction, which guides people in integrating their faith in their everyday activities.
