Series Description: GUY LOMBARDO AND HIS ROYAL CANADIANS is a nostalgic entertainment series featuring the legendary band leader and his big band performing their greatest hits. Al Pierson, leader of the Guy Lombardo Orchestra, opens and closes each program with anecdotes and little-known facts. Each episode of GUY LOMBARDO AND HIS ROYAL CANADIANS features archival footage of the orchestra performing more than a half-dozen classic songs, each one introduced by Guy Lombardo. Some archival performance footage, not seen since it first aired in the mid-'50s, was discovered through extensive film research and is featured in this series.
