Visas and Virtue/I Am Viet Hung (#103)

VISAS AND VIRTUE is based on the true story of the man known as Japan's Oskar Schindler. In 1940, against the commands of his country and at the risk of ruining his career, Japan's diplomat to Lithuania, Chiune Sugihara, wrote almost 2,000 visas that allowed an estimated 4, 000 - 6,000 Jews escape from the Nazi regime. In I AM VIET HUNG, passion for art and cultural legacy lend elegance to the fading memories of a Vietnamese opera singer struggling to keep his art form alive. [56 minutes] Closed Captioning
