Iowa Girls High School Basketball Tournament -- Historical documentary salutes the 1920s

From the Iowa Public Television’s archives, a historical documentary produced in the early 1970s about the history of the Iowa Girls High School Basketball Tournament.

This segment explores the importance of the tournament in Iowa beginning with the first championship game held in the 1920s. In a 1972 interview, Agnes Murphy, a member of the Ida Grove 1928 and 1929 championship team, reflects on coaching, uniforms and scoring.
