PBS TeacherLine Wins Two Prestigious Awards!
In April of 2007, TeacherLine was awarded the Best Online Instruction Solution CODiE Award by the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA) and the 2007 21st Century Best Practices in Distance Learning Award by the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA).

PBS TeacherLine Expands in Iowa
In June of 2007, IPTV was awarded an additional grant from the US Department of Education through PBS to expand the reach of PBS TeacherLine online professional development courses in Iowa. The grant allows all Iowa educators to register for TeacherLine courses through Grant Wood, Prairie Lakes, Northwest, Green Valley and Heartland Area Education Agencies.

PBS TeacherLine
Professional Development Courses

--at your own pace, in your own space.

PBS Teacherline provides online professional development through facilitated courses, a supportive learning community, and exemplary professional resources. The courses are available to all Iowa teachers who may enroll through Northwest AEA, Heartland AEA, Green Valley AEA, Grant Wood AEA or Prairie Lakes AEA.

The rigorous, top-notch courses are developed by various providers such as Indiana University and Tom Snyder Productions and offered at a special price to Iowa teachers through a USDE grant awarded to IPTV and our partner Area Education Agencies.

PBS TeacherLine courses are offered for 2 professional development credits [$120.00] or 2 graduate credits for an additional fee.

To date, over 800 Iowa educators have completed PBS TeacherLine professional development courses. Join the growing ranks of teachers who are opting to obtain their professional development/graduate credits in the convenience of their home on their own timetables.
