Literacy Model Core Curriculum Units

The Department of Education, in collaboration with the Area Education Agencies, has developed model units focusing on the essential concepts and skill sets of the Iowa Core Curriculum for high school literacy. A series of ICN sessions are being sponsored to introduce these units, which are intended to demonstrate the kind of instructional decision making that best supports Iowa’s Core Curriculum. This session is regarding the literacy model core curriculum unit. Presenters are Kristin Steingreaber, Great Prairie AEA and Bridgette Wagoner, Malcolm Price Lab School.
