The Iowa Journal examines the latest information from the edge of the decision and explores the campaigns from an outsider’s perspective.

The 08 caucus campaigns are easily the most expensive and sophisticated in history. They are also the most covered. By most accounts races in both parties are tight. Most polls show high percentages of likely caucus goers are still undecided. The hours leading into caucus night have been filled with candidates rallying supporters and seeking new support. We'll examine campaign highlights and explore the politics surrounding ethanol and the role the issue will play in the caucuses.

Featured in the program are Geoff Elliott, reporter for The Australian, and Matt Taibbi, contributing editor for Rolling Stone magazine, who will discuss the Iowa campaigns and caucuses from an outsider's point of view.

Kay Henderson, news director for Radio Iowa, will also be on hand for a look behind the day’s headlines.
