Whether you’re talking about New York, Los Angeles, Chicago or Des Moines, cities are actually a collection of neighborhoods. In the last decade, what is called the Historic East Village, in the shadow of state’s capital has been experiencing a renaissance – looking to attract more people to live, work and play in the neighborhood. Dan Kaercher, our Out and About correspondent checked out how things are changing.
