Veteran Cedar Falls musician Raldo Schneider brings his signature country-folk with a jolt and a twang to the stage of The Java House.
A native of Bennett, Iowa, Schneider has recorded nine albums over the decades of his career. For the last 15 years he has performed throughout the state as Raldo and Friends with John Stortz on guitar and Travis Smiley on bass.
Iowa Public Radio’s “Java Blend” with Ben Kieffer serves up fresh-brewed performances and conversation with musicians from around the state and country. Recorded before a live audience at The Java house in downtown Iowa City, the shows offer an eclectic mix of live tunes from the vibrant independent music scene. Ben Kieffer infuses the performances with lively chats to find out about the artists’ music and lives.
