Lance Foster, a member of the Ioway Nation, is a traditional storyteller, artist, teacher, and scholar and is involved in the cultural preservation and management of the Ioway culture and language. His presentation touches upon the history and culture of the Ioway Indians--the first tribe that inhabited the state of Iowa and parts of surrounding states. Today, there are Ioway Reservations in Kansas and Oklahoma.
