Filmmaker Adisa visits a village in Sierra Leone and commits himself to improving the lives of the youth who end up working in the diamond mines if their parents cannot afford the money to send them to school. But upon his return to the states he contracts a deadly virus and nearly dies. After his recovery and a new found respect for life and commitments, Adisa returns to the village having delivered on his promise to provide scholarships for as many of the village’s youth as a he can.
