Audra McDonald, Patti LuPone and Anthony Dean Griffey star in Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny from LA Opera, a new production of one of the great 20th century operas. Tune in to PBS' GREAT PERFORMANCES series (check local listings) for this savage and lyrical satire told in a blend of opera and raucous music hall songs. Tony Award-winner John Doyle (Company) directs.
