Program: America at a Crossroads
From "Operation Homecoming": "Taking Chance," based on Lieutenant Colonel Michael Strobl's writings recalling his journey accompanying the body of Private First Class Chance Phelps -- who was killed in action outside of Baghdad -- to his hometown of Grand Junction, Colorado.
"Operation Homecoming" is a unique documentary that explores the firsthand accounts of American soldiers through their own words and is part of PBS's America at a Crossroads series.
