FRONTLINE/World | Namibia: This Land Is Ours | PBS
Duration: 20:50 (Full Program)
Program:
Frontline/World
Broadcast Date: Aug. 16, 2005
Namibia is a vast, arid, largely empty country on the southwest coast of Africa. The long shoreline -- where the chilly Atlantic meets the Namib Desert -- is so forbidding that sailors named it the "skeleton coast." In this Frontline/World rough cut, Sarah Colt explores the issue of who should own Namibia's farms and cattle ranches.
