Find out about Heartland Adult Day Center in Ames, and visit Elizabeth Buchwald who cares for her mother in-law and her mother in-law's sister in her home.
Elizabeth's mother in-law, Katherine Buchwald, attends the day center 3 days a week.

Heartland Adult Day Center Director, Laurie Lybarger says most of her clients learn about the center by word-of-mouth. She said, "It always seems to be some tragic accident or some kind of event has occurred that adult children say, 'Okay, now what are we going to do.'"
