There's a place in Iowa that is a hub for news of the world. It literally hears from countries around the world on a daily basis, and sends out un-censored news, entertainment, and educational programs to college campuses and communities around the world.
The place is the satellite 'farm' called SCOLA - sort of an acronym for "Satellite Communications for Learning." (Scola means 'school' in several languages.)
Founded by a Jesuit Priest on the Nebraska Creighton University campus in 1981, the non-profit organization has migrated to a rural setting on one of the highest hills in Pottawattamie County, Iowa.
Living in Iowa will visit the antennae farm and discover the brave new world of language education.
