Program: Living In Iowa #1306
Broadcast Date: Dec. 12, 2002
In June of 2002, a choir from Tanzania visited Iowa as guests of the Evangelical Lutheran Church's Southeast Iowa Synod. These 15 men and women, known as the "Voices of Pare," performed gospel music for many Iowans during their 20-day visit.
Living in Iowa finds out what these choir members from a third-world country learned about Americans during their stay, and sees how the choir's visit has impacted the Iowans who met them.
