Grilling is a summertime staple and using fresh herbs when grilling is really easy to do! I like to use fresh herb bundles. Create a bundle of the herbs you want to use such as rosemary, sage, thyme, or oregano. It's easier to use herbs with a woody stem, they are much sturdier. Use a piece from the herb bundle to tie them together, this will help the bundles stay together and you're not adding anything artificial. You can use the tips of the herbs to apply butter or oil to your meats and vegetables or, soak hem in water to place on the coals to further infuse your food with flavor. Soaking them in water will help create smoke instead of them burning up quickly. If you like to grill, give this a try, you'll be glad you did.
