Cathy Barton and Dave Para, from Missouri, perform what they like to call "hand-me-down music." This versatile vocal duo plays folk and old-time music on several instruments, including hammered dulcimer, fretted dulcimer, banjo, guitar, Autoharp, mouthbow, bones and leaf. http://www.bartonpara.com/

Old-Time Country Music is a half-hour stereo television series recorded before studio audiences at Iowa Public Television in Johnston, Iowa. These programs were produced between 1990 and 2002 and featured local, regional, and national acoustic artists. From its onset, Old-Time Country Music featured country, folk, and bluegrass music for a national audience.
