In other news Tuesday, thousands of people rallied across Syria in a show of defiance as the Muslim holy month of Ramadan wrapped up. Activists said security forces shot and killed at least seven people, including a 13-year-old boy. Also, Libya's rebels are now threatening to attack Moammar Gadhafi's hometown of Sirte.
