Collection: Third Annual Iowa High School Summit
This presentation describes the dynamic nature of student aspirations and discusses eight conditions in schools that affect aspirations. Dr. Russell Quaglia shares the conditions that need to be in place so that all students, regardless of age or background, can reach their fullest potential. His findings have implications for how schools are organized, the role of educators, and how we access students. The presentation also describes how student aspirations can be used proactively in initiatives designed to increase academic standards and in the overall development of healthy, productive citizens.
