While other regions of the state are just now becoming submerged, recovery is beginning in some of the afflicted areas. Video from Mason City, Waverly, Cedar Rapids, Coralville, Iowa City, the University of Iowa, Des Moines, Ottumwa, Columbus Junction, Burlington, and rural areas along the Mississippi River give an idea of how widespread the damage has been.
