Getting Ready for Digital Television
Duration: 00:48
The conversion to digital television is ongoing -- and fast approaching. In a little more than a year, analog television will be shut off, and we'll all be watching television a little differently.
Iowa Public Television's Bill Hayes explains what you need to do to watch TV after the digital transition.
Bill Hayes has been Iowa Public Television's Engineering Director since 1999, and is responsible for the network's transition to digital television. Bill has more than 30 years of experience in television and radio broadcasting, and serves as president of the IEEE Broadcast Technology Society. He is also active in the Society of Motion Pictures and Television Engineers, and the Society of Broadcast Engineers.
