With the Darfur peace process in shambles, how long can the Darfuri people survive? The film captures the desperation of daily life in remote villages and crowded refugee camps. "Heart of Darfur" follows General Martin Luther Agwai, the commander of the joint U.N./African Union peacekeeping mission in Darfur, as he meets with leaders of a rebel faction. "Heart of Darfur" is an eyewitness
account of what has been called "the world's largest humanitarian crisis."
