Iowa Aviation in Smaller Airports

Iowa Journal looks at the economic impact of general aviation in the state.

General Aviation is more than just a weekend pilot going up for a few hours. It now includes many people using a private plane to fly for business meetings or even an air-taxi type approach to business.

Passengers in GA can often arrive at an airport just minutes before their flight and then be on a plane to their destination, thus cutting down on time wasted in security lines or delayed flights.

We look at the Council Bluffs Airport and what's made their last decade the best in the airport's history. Part of their success is the success of nearby Omaha's airport.
